Territorial Bodies
Alice Brunello Luise, Amanda Bobadilla, Bernadita Bennett, Vivian Ngozi Aghamelu, Renata Faccenda
A collective exhibition of five feminist and decolonial artists on the politics of the body and space.

Territorial Bodies challenges the understanding of the body as merely physical, presenting it instead as a landscape shaped by histories of movement, displacement, violence, and reclamation. Curated by Marcela Villanueva, the exhibition brings together five feminist and decolonial artists whose works explore the intersections between corporeality and geography, memory and migration, identity and belonging.
Through photography, performance, installation, and mixed media, the works construct counter-narratives that confront imposed structures of control over both the body and space.
- Alice Brunello Luise — Shapes of My Heart. Mixed-media collages that reclaim the body as a site of radical honesty and resilience, mapping the intersection between physical suffering and political resistance and presenting vulnerability as both personal and collective power.
- Amanda Bobadilla — Cardenillo / Letter to the Space. Cartographic interventions that question how colonial mapping shapes our perception of space and identity, reclaiming cartography as a personal and political tool.
- Bernadita Bennett — Ir y venir. Analog photography of everyday moments in Berlin and Santiago de Chile, capturing the tension between belonging and displacement in the experience of migration.
- Vivian Ngozi Aghamelu — HAIRY SEDUCTION. Video, performance, and installation that confront Eurocentric beauty standards and the commodification of Black bodies, reclaiming Black femininity as a site of power and resistance.
- Renata Faccenda — En Bragas. A participatory installation built from a decade-long collection of Polaroids, exploring intimacy, body politics, and the tension between power and vulnerability.
