Artist, political scientist, and cultural manager
Mara Borchardt
Political scientist and cultural manager, one half of the artist duo Ravenna/Borchardt.
Mara Borchardt is a political scientist and cultural manager. She approaches cultural production as a collective process that requires diverse voices, negotiation, and the participation of those directly affected.
With Mariano Ravenna she forms Ravenna/Borchardt, a collective whose projects encourage participatory reflection on the Argentine political context and its global connections, blending image and writing to generate dialogue around current social conditions. In their installation Ruhezeit , shown at Bardo Projektraum in November 2025, she was responsible for the texts and interviews.
