Ida Sophia (b. 1989) is an Australian artist working primarily in performance, sculpture, and installation. Her practice is marked by encounters that provoke emotional and physiological openness, addressing regret, transformation, forgiveness, and the complexities of familial relationships.
She has exhibited at Scope BLN (Berlin), the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide Contemporary Experimental (ACE), Carriageworks (Sydney), and the Venice International Performance Art Week. In 2023 she was awarded the Ramsay Art Prize. She is based in Berlin.
Her first solo exhibition in Berlin, I Remember How it Feels to be Made of Flesh , was shown at Bardo Projektraum in September 2025.
